A drink inside a drink
The trick is entirely mechanical: freeze a hollow ice sphere, drill into it, and inject a second cocktail inside before the hole reseals itself in the freezer. What you're left with is a drink that changes character as it melts — the Old Fashioned trapped inside only reaches the Boulevardier around it once the ice has been sitting long enough to breach.
