A deep, roasted take on the Boulevardier with smoked chestnut syrup.
Chestnuts are naturally low in sugar and starchy rather than sweet, so smoking them before turning them into syrup adds a roasted depth that a standard sugar syrup never could — it makes the Boulevardier taste like it belongs next to a fireplace rather than a bar cart.
